sta. Di fronte all’intenzione
del Comune di Assisi di
stipulare una convenzione con la
Pro Animale, società con sede in
Baviera, per la gestione del
canile comprensoriale di Ponte
Rosso, l’Ente per la protezione
animali alza le barricate. E
diffida il Comune. La Pro
Animale, infatti, sarebbe già
sotto inchiesta «per
maltrattamento animali,
falsificazione di registri e
importazione di animali
all’estero a fini di commercio».
«Sembra essere costume della Pro
Animale - spiega Paola Madrigali
Tintori, presidente della
sezione perugina dell’Enpa - di
proporre convenzioni con
richieste bassissime,
palesemente incompatibili con un
corretto benessere degli
animali, tali da suscitare
sospetti sugli scopi della
gestione».
Intanto, dice l’Enpa, la cooperativa che ora gestisce il canile ha chiesto di poter affidare 40 cani a soggetti tedeschi, quando già il canile di Ponte Rosso sarebbe soggetto a «prelievi usuali da parte della Pro Animale». Da qui una seconda diffida all’Asl 2. Ad opporsi, anche l’associazione Argo&Silvestro.

In front of the intention of
the Municipalityof Assisi to
stipulate a contract with
Pro Animale, a
society whit a head office
in con sede in Bavaria,
for the administration of
the district kennel of Ponte
Rosso, the Nationl Unit for
Animal Protection (ENPA)
lifts barricades. And it
warns the Municipality Pro
Animale, indeed, seems to be
already under inquiry/investigation for abuse
on animal , falsification
of records, import of
animals from abroad with
commercial purpouses;" It
seem to be the costum of Pro
Animale - Paola Madrigali
Tintori, president of the
section of ENPA in Perugia ,explains -
to offer contracts with the
lowest requests , evidently incompatible
with a correct welafre for
the animals , so that they
make suspect rouse about the
purposes of the management;.
